Weddings and Ceremonies

Exclusively yours on this most special occasion, an historic country manor house, delicious food and wines, open log fires, sumptuous furnishings, beautiful gardens surrounded on all sides by natural woodland and nestling beneath Roseberry Topping.

Pinchinthorpe Hall is available for wedding receptions and civil ceremonies. It is also available for new ceremonies such as Renewal of Vows, Commitment Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships.

We aim to ensure our menus give a wide variety of choice and that every requirement is met no matter how small or complex. Our functions manager would be happy to meet with you to discuss your plans and take you on a tour of our facilities as well as provide you with an estimated cost.

Civil Ceremonies

Since December 2005 those wishing to enter into a same-sex civil partnership can give notice of their intention to do so.

The minimum requirement will be the couple attending before an authorised civil partnership Officer and signing the registration in the presence of two witnesses. The ceremony can be customised by each couple if they want a more personalised celebration.

Commitment Ceremonies

A Commitment Ceremony is a meaningful and dignified ceremony for adult couples. The purpose of the ceremony is to make a public declaration of life-long commitment, love and dedication between two people and should be entered into with serious intent.

During the ceremony a souvenir record of the ceremony is signed by the couple and by the Celebrant which you can then keep as a reminder of your day.

Naming Ceremonies

This is a very special way of celebrating the birth of your child and welcoming the new arrival into the family and the wider community. It is also an opportunity to declare, before family and friends, your promise to be as good a parent as you can and for adult friends or relatives to confirm their special relationship with your child. There are many ways to make your child's ceremony a very personal and unique event.
